Modality & Eligibility: Summer only, .25 unit of credit

This course is available to students who require academic credit for their internship. Unlike other classes, CFS does not provide internship placement assistance for this course.  Students who participate in this class are required to secure their own internships prior to applying for program. Additionally, it may be a viable option for international students requiring CPT work authorization for the summer months.

Credits available: 0.25 unit of credit. Course runs in Summer only. 

Credit toward degree: CFS courses typically count towards general elective credits, but since this course would only count .25 credit, talk with your academic advisor about how it would count for you.  

Course Description

This course provides an opportunity for students to critically reflect on their internships through readings and discussions posted on Canvas and a few reflective papers, due throughout the summerIt is an asynchronous, online course offered in the summer only.

Internships can be in ANY field.  Students are responsible for securing their internship.  Please see our Sample Internships page for more information.
